[MAKEUP] New Products!
Hey Beauties! Today I stopped by Walmart to check out some stuff because I used up majority of my Maybelline stick foundation and so I rewarded myself with picking up a different foundation to try out! I also wanted to try Maybelline's baby lips (in the dr. rescue formula) because my lips have been so irritated and dry.
So these are the two things I ended up buying. Be sure to stay tuned because I'll be posting reviews on these products once I've had the chance to really test them out!

[NAILS] Mani Monday
Happy Monday Beauties! For today's mani Monday, I decided to go with a fresh color, but something that's also muted. I used Forever 21's Love & Beauty nail polish in Jade. It's a great color for spring that isn't too bright and intimidating! It's opaque in just two coats!
What nail polish are you rocking for this mani Monday??

[FAVE] YouTube-ers #2
Happy Sunday Beauties! Welcome to another installment of Fave Youtube-ers! I think now I'm starting to figure out a schedule for my posts, which is exciting because now my posts won't be too all over the place lol.
Anyhow let's jump right into it shall we?! I'm actually pretty excited for this one because I think it's a really good mix of channels and I have 7 that I want to talk about. I think that's a lot of channels to be obsessing over. If you're interested in checking out their channels, click their banner and you'll be redirected to their page.
1. Lindsey Stirling - The first channel is featuring this amazing violinist; he name is Lindsey Stirling and she has amazing songs for... DUBSTEP VIOLIN! Yes, you read that right. Dubstep violin. It's amazing and I honestly love listening to it when I'm studying (it really helps keep me awake) and the songs, in my opinion, are so original. It's absolutely amazing.
My favorite is Stars Align <-- definitely check that song out!
2. JAAACKJACKVLOGS - This channel is another vlogging channel, but she also does beauty videos on YouTube, but I've been obsessing over her vlogs. Jackie is a really sweet and genuine YouTube-er. I think the reason why I've been really liking her vlogs is because she looks like a younger version of my grandma, weird I know, but it kind of makes me imagine that this was how my grandma was like when she was younger. I think that's a pretty weird reason, but regardless her vlogs may be short, but they're pretty entertaining to watch :)
3. MakeupByAlli - Can we first start off with how pretty she is?! I've been really liking her beauty videos a lot lately because the looks are so simple, but yet so stunning! I also have been obsessing over the haul videos that she's done, I think it's because she picks up a lot of the stuff that I'm actually interested in trying! I also loved her video featuring some of the new NYX products. Definitely check her out for great tutorials and fashion looks!
**Please, drink responsibly and please no underage drinking - it's not as fun as everyone says it is**
6. blndsundoll4mj - If you're looking for a channel featuring a beautiful woman (who doesn't take everything too seriously), beauty videos, vlogs, random stuff, and funny challenges, then check this channel out. Trisha Paytas is a sweet YouTube-er who lives in LA and she does a wide mix of videos. I really like her vlogs because she isn't afraid to say it how it is. I like the insights that she has for a couple of controversial topics and she's overall and really funny individual.
7. Gigi Gorgeous - While we're talking about honest people, Gigi is the top chick of it. She is a transgendered YouTube-er who isn't afraid to talk about her journey and also looks drop-dead gorgeous (she definitely picked an appropriate YouTube name right?! lol). I love her monthly favorites videos because she's not around the bush with why she likes a product. A lot of the time, I feel like she's extremely honest with her subscribers when she reviews or talks about a product. She can also be really funny and her fashion taste is on point!
So that's it for this installment of Fave YouTube-ers! Who are some of your favorite YouTube-ers? I love watching YouTube videos during my down time because they are so entertaining and they definitely help time fly by. Have a great week and I'll talk to you guys in my next post!!

4. TipsBartender - If you're wondering, I am 21 so it's okay for me to feature this channel :p lol Anyways, I've been loving all the different drink recipes they feature on this channel, and the guy is actually a bartender so he knows his stuff (the guy isn't featured in the pic, he has assistants that actually make the drinks, he just tells them what to do). My favorite drink they featured was the rainbow shot, but I heard that it's not the tasty to drink - but honestly when you're taking shots, what shots are actually tasty to drink? lol
5. WahlieTV - These two are the most relatable young couple ever. I love watching their vlogs because they're so relatable and I feel like I can relate to them when it comes to being a young person in a committed relationship. Weylie and Wah are their names and they have the cutest relationship and they're so entertaining to watch. I love how you see more of Weylie's personality (more than you see from her beauty videos) and Wah's is like one of the best boyfriends out there. He's so caring of Weylie and he's just a genuine good guy.

[REVIEW] Formula 10.0.6 - New Skin Care Routine
About two weeks ago I made a small trip to Ulta to check out their 40% off deal. Unfortunately nothing caught my eye, so I wandered over to their skin care section (honestly I just wanted to buy a new mask lol), and I stumbled upon this pretty little set right here! It's a great money saver because I got to try 4 products for the price of $10, and they're decent size products too, not the little baby samples that you only get one or two uses out of.
So Totally Clean Deep Pore Cleanser - $5.99
This has to be one of the best things that has ever come into my life, well skin care wise. When this thing says it's a deep pore cleanser, it aint lying. The first time I used it I was extremely intimidated because after the first swipe on my face all I could smell was alcohol. I was honestly afraid that my face was going to peel off! But it didn't (obviously), after the first use I looked at the cotton pad and realized that it did take away some of my blackheads.
I've been using is consistently for the past two weeks and it has made a huge difference on my skin. I don't have those weird patches, white heads, or black heads around my nose and I feel like my skin actually has the chance to soak up my moisturizer.
This little bottle only has 2 fl oz and that's way more than enough for me; this can last me for a couple of months no problem.
Best Face Forward Daily Foaming Cleanser - $5.99
This is another one that has changed my entire skin care life! It says that it's a gel formula, but it's actually a runny liquid formula, which threw me off when I first used it. This cleanser does a great job at removing any excess face makeup I have on and doesn't give me that tight feeling on my face after I use it. It has a really nice gentle foam that isn't over bearing and at the same time it's not like there's no foam at all.
The scent is one thing that will probably make or break this product for you. On the bottle it says that it's passionfruit and green tea, but in my opinion it smells nothing like that. It has like a light Earthy scent to it, it's really hard for me to describe it, but since it's not extremely harsh I don't mind it.
Deep Down Detox: Ultra-Cleansing Mud Mask - $5.99
I've tried one of these masks in the past, in fact I have the Pores Be Pure mask in the full size bottle. This sample set came with two baby packs of this particular mask and I was extremely interested to try it. I used this mask after I cleansed and moisturized my face (I really wanted to get deep down into my skin and remove any impurities). Let me just warn you, never use this after you've just cleansed your skin because it'll burn like nobody's business.
If you're not a big fan of citrus scents then you'll definitely want to steer clear of this product. You get a big whiff of orange and it'll smell like you just lathered orange all over your face.
I didn't notice a hug difference in my skin and I couldn't wear it for the full 10 minutes because it just started burning certain spots on my skin.
Keep Me Clean: Clarifying Facial Wipes - $5.99
This wipe is supposed to be a cleansing facial wipe with which hazel and cucumber. I never used which hazel before and I don't think I'd want to. I have a couple of gripes with this particular product. The main thing that I don't like is the fact that the wipes themselves are so soft and break so easily, that I feel like it doesn't do much in terms of cleaning my face. I usually use the Walmart brand makeup remover wipes (textured) to take off my makeup and I feel like that does a great job of getting deep down in there to get my makeup off.
I did a little experiment and used this wipe to take off my makeup, and I just wanted to see how much it can get off. So I used both sides of this wipe and then I went in with my usual makeup remover and these wipes missed a lot of makeup. I still had residue from my brow powder, foundation, and bronzer.
I also don't care for the smell. It's an extremely heavy scented cucumber smell (almost as if you had a freshly cut cucumber) mixed with something else that I can really put my finger on.
Overall, I just don't care for this product and it leaves my face feeling extremely dry and tight. No bueno for me.
My favorite products from this little mini collection is the two cleansers, the first two products I talked about. The combination of the two along with my moisturizer has given me the smoothest and most even skin I've had in a really long time. I love going around bare faced and my family has also noticed the my skin looks a lot brighter and even. I don't have sensitive skin, so if you do want to try this and you do have sensitive skin, I will say be weary because these products are extremely deep cleaning and can be intense.
I haven't experienced any break outs, rashes, or irritation from these products and I will definitely be buying the two cleaners once I run out. I'm looking into trying their moisturizers because I'm just loving their skin care line right now.
