[REVIEW] Wet n Wild - Comfort Zone 8 pan palette

YAY!!! Finals are OVER for this semester (I really hope I did well on my finals), so to celebrate, I decided to post a new review! We've all heard about these Wet n Wild palettes and we've been hearing a lot of praise about these eyeshadows and for a very good reason. Let's get to business shall we :D

Breakdown:

Packaging: The packaging is great. It's not bulky and there's no excess plastic or fancy stuff to add more bulk to it. It's sleek and compact and can fit in a makeup bag for traveling. The front plastic part surprisingly feels sturdy and there's not give to it, so there's no really worry of something damaging the eyeshadows.

Feel: These eyeshadows feel extremely buttery and silky, which really surprised me for the price. None of the shadows have that dry feeling to them, like you would need to really press/push a brush in there to pick up the color.

Product: Okay, this is what makes me love this palette. For the price, the eyeshadows are extremely pigmented and they feel rich. The lasting time is impressive as well, but I do always wear an eyeshadow base because I have extremely oily lids. I love the colors and they all work well with each other. The whole idea is that each column will give you a look, but you can mix and match the different colors so get any type of look.

(Left side of the palette)

On the left side of the palette, the first color (furthest left) is called the browbone color, this one is a shimmery light champagne/beige color. The second color, labeled eyelid, is a beautiful rose gold/golden peachy color (one of my absolute faves and great for everyday). The third color, labeled as crease, is a typical coppery/gold, but it's not as dark as some other copper colors can be. The last color in this column, labeled as definer, this color comes off as matte when used, but in the palette it's there is some golden shimmer in it.

(Right side of the palette)

On the right side of the palette, you have a little more color. The browbone color is not as light as the other side, and it has more of a golden undertone to it than the other browbone color. The eyelid color is a great green that is easy to use, especially when you're just getting into color. There's a golden shimmer/sheen to it which makes it really easy to work with. The crease color is almost like black, but it's not as dark as a black and it also has golden shimmer in it. The definer color is an interesting color, because it looks like a gun metal color, but when blended it's like a taupey brown.

Price: You can find the 8 pan palettes at your local drug store for about $4.99 which is an amazing deal, especially for 8 eyeshadows. I mean think about it, we spend like $6 for a regular quad from like L'Oreal or Maybelline. With a price so low, I thought that there could be no way that it would be great quality.

Overall:
I really like this palette. I think it's versatile and is great for someone who does want to experiment with some color, but at the same time wants to stick with neutrals.

The only one thing that I don't like is the fact that the two highlighting shades are shimmery/pearlescent. When I use shimmer on my eyes, I like to use a matte browbone shade to really highlight underneath my brown and blend with my crease. If they had that in this palette I think it'd be complete.

Have you tried this palette?? What do you think about it?? Let me know in the comments down below :D
