[FIRST IMPRESSION] Wet n Wild - Color Icon Blusher - Pearlescent Pink

Hey Beauties! Today I have a first impression/review for you guys on an extremely affordable blush. It's Wet n Wild's Color Icon Blusher in Pearlescent Pink. You can find these at your local drug store. There are 3 original blushes from this specific line, and I decided to pick up the most popular color.

Let's get into the first impression:

Breakdown:

Packaging: The packaging is okay. I feel like the brush it comes with isn't necessary, but if you don't have any brushes then it's an okay option. However, I don't know a lot of people that use the brushes that come with these products, and if they were to take it out, then the packaging would be a lot more compact and a lot easier to carry around. But, it's not bulky and it's a lot sleeker than other blushes out there.

Price: Wet n Wild has extremely affordable products, this baby right here goes for about $2.99, but my local Walgreens was having a sale on some Wet n Wild products so I was able to buy it for $1.94. If you're looking for an affordable blush from the drug store this is perfect for you!

Color/Pigmentation: This product is pretty pigmented. Even with the lightest amount on my brush, I still ended up overdoing it and I needed to blend it out with my powder brush so it wasn't too harsh. I absolutely love the color on my skin tone as well. It's a golden light mauve which is great for Summer and with the golden sheen it just add that little umph to a simple look. The base color itself does go on a little lighter from what you see in the pan, but since it's so pigmented you can build it up if you'd like to.

Longevity: I need to warn you, I'm a face toucher, especially when I'm in class, so naturally face products don't really last that long for me. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see that after a day of wear, I could still see the color on my cheeks. I'm lucky if a product lasts 2-3 hours on me, and I've been wearing this for about 6 hours right now. Overall, it looks like the base color has great longevity, but not the golden sheen.

Product: When I dipped my blush brush in there, I just lightly patted it in, and then a bunch of fallout came off too. The blush is extremely powdery in the pan, which I was kind of expecting because I have the same problem when it comes to their single eyeshadows from the same line. I'm extremely hesitant to use this daily if it means that I'm going to constantly have to deal with the fallout, which is the main reason why I don't use their single eyeshadows although I love the colors.

Overall:
I really do like this blush. I think it's a great alternative for someone who is wanting the pigmentation from a higher end product, but doesn't want to pay the high end price. I also think that the color itself is extremely flattering on all types of skin tones; maybe more so for those with warmer undertones because of that golden sheen. It can work as a multi-tasker (highlight/blush) but remember that the shimmer doesn't last that long.

Have you tried these blushes?? Which ones are your favorite?? Let me know down below and if there's a product out there that you'd want me to try out/review let me know!! You can also find me on twitter (ciaociao808review) or instagram (ciaociao808)!! Till my next post :]
