[FASHION] My Type of Look Tuesday - LBS (Little Black Skirt)

Happy Tuesday Beauties! For today's 'My Type of Look Tuesday' it focuses on a recent purchase that I made. It was a black skater skirt from Ross - the brand is Popular Basics. I have no clue where you can find that particular brand, but skater skirts can be found practically everywhere now-a-days.

If you're not sure what a skater skirt is, it's basically a mid-length skirt that is pretty flowy, but is kind of fitted in the upper third. For the look, I was thinking of how I would wear it everyday (I originally bought the skirt for a formal presentation). 

I kept it really simple with a flowy shirt, something that could be worn slightly off the shoulder. The shoes are something that I would add just to make it look classic, but if you're going for a more "hipster" vibe then you can definitely opt for a pair of Converse. For the accessories, I wanted to keep it simple as well. I knew that I would wear the whole outfit with my hair up, so I wanted long earrings so that it will elongate my face, the bracelet just adds another sweet touch to it as well :D

For the makeup I've been really liking light peach and coral colors and since they're on the more neutral side, it works for an everyday look. I paired the eyes with a light pink that could be sheered out (you could even use a tinted lip balm) and a light peachy cheek.

Here are some cheaper alternatives to the high-end pieces featured above. If you really want a good deal, definitely check out your local Ross, Marshals, and TJ Maxx. They tend to have amazing hidden pieces that are super cheap! Just because they're known to be cheap doesn't mean they don't have quality pieces. A lot of the cheaper alternatives are going to be from Forever 21, Charlotte Russe, and Target because I know they have reasonably priced clothing and it's on the internet :p lol so it's definitely easier for me to link.
